Supporting Rongomai Primary School & Te Wiki o Te Reo Māori

We were delighted to receive a wonderful message of appreciation from Rongomai Primary School in Ōtara following their Māori Language Week activities.
Good Care Community Trust was pleased to support the school's Kapa Haka group with 10 litres of custard and 10 litres of cream to accompany their traditional steamed puddings. It was fantastic to hear that all the tamariki had the opportunity to enjoy the pudding and had such a joyful time together.
Supporting moments like these is an important part of our wider commitment to local schools. It is not only about providing food, but also about supporting cultural celebrations, shared experiences, and opportunities that bring tamariki and communities together.
A heartfelt thank you to Rongomai Primary School for allowing GCCT to contribute to your celebrations and for sharing the wonderful feedback and photos with us.
