Breakfast food was delivered to East Tamaki Primary School, Otara, this week, and the children made wonderful use of it. They spent the morning learning and preparing meals from the ingredients provided by Good Care Community Trust.
It was inspiring to see their excitement and teamwork as they cooked, shared and learned new skills together. These activities not only promote healthy eating but also teach responsibility, creativity and collaboration among the students.
It has been another active and engaging week at the centre, filled with the usual buzz of activities and friendly faces. Members continue to show great enthusiasm in taking part, whether through creative projects, group discussions or simply enjoying time together. The atmosphere remains positive and welcoming, reminding us once again how strong our community spirit truly is.
Our English lessons also ran smoothly this week with great attendance and energy. Members are making steady progress, building confidence and supporting one another in every session. Each week brings visible improvement and growing pride as everyone works together to strengthen their language skills.
Another strong week for our breakfast program across South Auckland. The Good Care Community Trust continues to deliver nutritious food to support our tamariki and help them start each school day with focus and energy.
