We are absolutely thrilled to share the phenomenal success of the Good Care Community Trust's Men's Outreach Program! What started as a focused initiative to support elderly men in our community has blossomed into a vibrant, highly popular hub of activity and connection for men of all ages.

The response from the community has been overwhelming! We've seen a surge in attendance, with lots of new members regularly joining our sessions. It's truly heartening to witness so many individuals not only attending but also actively participating in and engaging with the diverse range of activities we offer.

From lively group discussions and skill-sharing workshops  and social gatherings, the program is successfully providing a vital space for camaraderie, learning, and well-being. The positive feedback highlights the real need for these structured, inclusive social opportunities.

A huge thank you to all our dedicated, wonderful members who are making this program a resounding success. Your energy and enthusiasm are what make the Good Care Community Trust a true community.

If you know an elderly gentleman—or any man in the community—who would benefit from friendship, engaging activities, and a supportive environment, please encourage them to come along. The doors are open, and the community is ready to welcome them!

Stay tuned for more updates on upcoming events and activities!

Usual Activities

What a fantastic week of good food and great company. The centre has been alive with conversation, laughter and a strong sense of belonging. Our members continue to show that when people gather around the table, meals become more than nourishment. They turn into shared experiences that lift spirits and create lasting memories.

The Good Care Community Trust was also delighted to host a special lunch for its wonderful members this week. It was much more than a meal. It became a time to reconnect, to celebrate friendships and to welcome both familiar faces and new ones. These events highlight the true value of community life. They bring comfort, joy and the reassurance that no one is walking their journey alone.

English Classes

Our English classes were equally full of life with a strong turnout and plenty of enthusiasm in the room. Members are showing steady dedication, practicing consistently and encouraging one another as they learn. Each session brings more confidence, clearer expression and a growing readiness to take part in conversation. It is inspiring to witness this determination. Learning here is not only about language. It is also about creating opportunities, strengthening confidence and building meaningful connections within the community.

Centre Activities

With the school holidays in full swing, the centre has been buzzing with energy. It’s encouraging to see so many people come together, collaborating, sharing ideas, and supporting one another. These interactions remind us that the heart of GCCT lies in connection – building friendships, strengthening community spirit, and finding new ways to grow together.

English Classes

We also had a big turnout for our English learning sessions this week. The room was filled with energy, commitment, and plenty of conversation. It’s inspiring to watch members consistently put in the effort, making steady improvements week by week. Every small step forward is a sign of determination, and we’re proud of the progress being made.
