Breakfast Deliveries & Matariki Community Support | Week Ending 5 July 2026
It has been another busy week of breakfast deliveries across South Auckland, ensuring students continue to receive healthy food to start their school day.
This week’s deliveries included:

• Manurewa High School
• Flat Bush School Road Primary School, Ōtara
• East Tāmaki Primary School, Ōtara
• Ormiston Senior College, Flat Bush
• Wymondley Road Primary School, Ōtara
• Tiny Stars Kindy, Ōtara
• Yendarra Primary School, Ōtara
We were especially proud to support Takanini School with a special food delivery for their Matariki celebrations. Seeing schools celebrate together while ensuring every child and whānau has access to great food is exactly what community is about.
We also had the privilege of supporting Saint John the Evangelist School in Ōtara with a special Matariki food delivery. Matariki is a time for reflection, gratitude, and bringing people together, and we were honoured to contribute to such a meaningful celebration.
Another highlight this week was seeing photos from the Breakfast Club at Manurewa High School, where students and staff prepared nutritious breakfasts using the ingredients supplied by Good Care Community Trust. Seeing our deliveries transformed into healthy meals enjoyed by students reminds us why this programme continues to grow.
Together, we continue nourishing our tamariki, supporting schools, and strengthening communities.
