GCCT Weekly Update - Week Ending 15 June 2025

It’s been another positive and productive week at Good Care Community Trust, with our team and volunteers continuing their dedicated work to support schools and our local community.

Healthy Breakfast Food Deliveries

This week, we proudly delivered nutritious breakfast food to the following schools:

• Manurewa High School

• Yendarra Primary School, Ōtara

• Tangaroa College, Ōtara

• Dawson Primary School, Ōtara

• McAuley High School, Ōtāhuhu

• Flat Bush Primary School, Ōtara

• Rongomai Primary School, Ōtara

We are grateful to continue supporting these schools to ensure their students start their day well-fed, energised, and ready to learn. Seeing the smiles on the students’ faces is what makes these efforts so rewarding.

GCCT Centre Activities

The GCCT Centre was once again a lively space this week, with members actively participating in a variety of activities every day. From social gatherings to wellness-focused programs, the centre was full of connection, conversation, and positivity throughout the week. It’s wonderful to see the members staying engaged, making friends, and creating a vibrant community space.

English Learning Classes

Our English Learning Classes continue to be a great success. Members are making steady progress, gaining confidence in their communication skills. These classes not only improve language abilities but also open doors to greater independence and social connection. The commitment and enthusiasm from our learners is inspiring, and we look forward to seeing their continued growth.
