GCCT Weekly Update - Week Ending 22 June 2025

Another busy and fulfilling week for the Good Care Community Trust team as we continued our mission to provide healthy breakfast food to schools in our community.

This week’s deliveries included:

• Manurewa High School’s breakfast food delivery.

• Yendarra Primary School, Ōtara, breakfast food delivery.

• Breakfast food delivered this morning at McAuley High School, Ōtāhuhu.

• Breakfast food delivered at Tangaroa College, Ōtara.

• Dawson Primary School, Ōtara’s breakfast food delivery.

• Breakfast food delivery at Takanini School Road School.

• Flat Bush Primary School, Ōtara, breakfast food delivery.

• Rongomai Primary School, Ōtara, breakfast food delivery.

• Mayfield Primary School, Ōtara’s breakfast food delivery.

Activities and Learning

The GCCT Centre continued to be lively with members participating in various activities throughout the week, creating a positive and engaging environment.

We also celebrated Matariki Day at the GCCT Centre. Matariki marks the Māori New Year, a special time for remembrance, reflection, and new beginnings. It was beautiful to come together and honour this significant occasion with our community.

English Learning Classes

Learning continues to flourish at GCCT. English classes remain a valuable part of our weekly activities, helping members build confidence and improve essential skills.

As we always say: “Little by little, a little becomes a lot.”
