Heartwarming thanks from Flat Bush Road School.
We were incredibly inspired to receive these beautiful messages of appreciation from the team and tamariki at Flat Bush Road School in Ōtara.
At Good Care Community Trust, our mission is to support local schools, and seeing the direct impact of the breakfast programme in Room 6 and across the school makes it all worthwhile. It is about more than just a meal. It is about connection, reflection, and helping students start the day strong.
Voices from the School
• Miss Heather (Team Leader) shared how their Friday sit down breakfast allows students to reflect on their week and set goals for the future.
• Mrs Mayerhofler (Deputy Principal) highlighted how the gift of kai helps ensure every child is strong and ready to learn, helping the whole school community feel supported.
• Students from Room 6, including Talito and Lilo, shared how much they enjoy the breakfast because it “fills my tummy”.
Ngā mihi nui to the staff at Flat Bush Road School for the incredible work you do every day. We are proud to support your tamariki, tamaiti, and aiga.
Seeing those smiling faces and breakfast being shared is exactly why we do what we do. Together we continue supporting the future of Ōtara.
