This week, the Good Care Community Trust team continued its commitment to ensuring children start their day with a healthy breakfast. Our regular school deliveries reached:

• Yendarra Primary School

• Manurewa High School

• McAuley High School Ōtāhuhu

• Dawson Primary School Ōtara

A special highlight was at Dawson Primary School, where GCCT member Jayramdas Uncle Ji not only helped deliver breakfast food but also volunteered his time in the school’s kitchen to prepare breakfast for the kids. We are grateful for such acts of kindness and involvement from our members.

Additionally, Dawson Primary School shared a heartwarming video showing children learning cooking skills using the breakfast food supplied by GCCT — a true reflection of how this initiative nurtures both body and mind.

Our team also visited Ferguson Intermediate School Ōtara as part of the ongoing Healthy Breakfast for the School Kids program.

These moments remind us that small efforts lead to big impacts when it comes to the well-being of our tamariki.
