Another inspiring week at Good Care Community Trust as we continue to grow our impact across South Auckland. Here's what we've been up to for the week ending 27 July 2025:
🥣 Healthy Breakfast DeliveriesOur Healthy Breakfast Program continues to expand, with food delivered to support tamariki at:
Yendarra Primary School, Ōtara
Manurewa High School
Tangaroa College, Ōtara
McAuley High School, Ōtāhuhu
Dawson Primary School, Ōtara
Takanini School Road
Flat Bush Primary School, Ōtara
Rongomai Primary School, Ōtara
Mayfield Primary School, Ōtara
The growing appreciation from schools and the smiles on students’ faces truly reflect the impact we’re making together. We’re proud to be part of a community that believes in giving kids the best start to their day.
🤝 Centre ActivitiesThroughout the week, the centre remained a hub of energy and purpose. Members stayed actively engaged — sharing ideas, connecting with others, and supporting each other’s wellbeing. The sense of community is what keeps us grounded and moving forward.
📘 English Learning ClassesOur English classes continue to thrive, with a strong turnout and high enthusiasm. It's inspiring to see participants investing in themselves, building skills, and showing an ongoing commitment to self-development. This mindset of growth is exactly what GCCT stands for.
Thank you to everyone involved in making this week a success — from school staff to volunteers, facilitators, and our amazing community members.
