Week Ending 31 August 2025 – Community, Classes, and Care

This week Good Care Community Trust continued its breakfast food deliveries across our partner schools. It is always encouraging to see this programme making a positive difference for so many students. Deliveries were made to:

• Manurewa High School

• Yendarra Primary School Otara

• McAuley High School Otahuhu

• Dawson Primary School Otara

• Takanini School Road Primary School

• Tangaroa College Otara

• East Tamaki Primary School Otara

• Flat Bush School Road Primary School Otara

• Mayfield Primary School Otara

• Rongomai Primary School Otara

Our members remained busy with activities throughout the week, and we also shared a lunch at the centre. This gathering was a perfect example of the diversity and unity that defines our community, with people coming together to connect and enjoy each other’s company.

English classes also kept us engaged this week, with strong participation and consistent learning. It has been wonderful to see the ongoing dedication of those attending and the progress being made.
