Another meaningful week at Good Care Community Trust, filled with activity, learning, and heartfelt connections across our community.
A Hive of Activity at GCCT
The GCCT Centre was full of life this week, with members actively engaging in a range of tasks and community projects. The energy around the table was inspiring as everyone contributed their skills and ideas to our ongoing initiatives. It’s always heartening to see our centre buzzing with purpose and collaboration.
English Learning in Full Swing
Our English Learning Classes continued with great participation and enthusiasm. Language is a powerful tool for connection, and seeing members grow in confidence and capability reminds us how essential these classes are to personal development and integration.
Easter Celebrations – GCCT Open on Good Friday
Despite the long weekend, the spirit of service remained strong. We remained open on Good Friday, welcoming members and spreading Easter cheer. It was a joy to see the GCCT family come together to celebrate the season with kindness and warmth.
Happy Easter to all!
Acknowledgement from McAuley High School – Otahuhu
We were honoured to be acknowledged by McAuley High School on their social media for our contribution to their Breakfast Club. Their Hauora Service Group is now setting up breakfast every morning from 7:45am to 8:15am, and all students are welcome.
McAuley’s post expressed appreciation to Kickstart Breakfast and GCCT for the generous support. We are proud to be part of this initiative that ensures students start their day with a healthy meal.
